Very beautiful and a great place to have breakfast, lunch or a brunch. They are doing breakfast menu too. A great outdoor sitting with a classy view all over the Auckland Exactly the beach front cafe and if you sit outside it’s another level happiness Have tried their cajun chicken burger which is delicious and especially the bun of the burger is another level Lots of options for yum food and also for beverages too. They also have Movenpick with them so you can enjoy both under one roof!! Would definitely recommend.

Top spot! Great coffee and super friendly welcoming staff. Take your time and soak up the local artwork on display too.

Local and lekker. Beautiful setting and friendly staff. Tea serviced in a pot and not in a cup. This keep the wife happy so deserved the 4th star!

Absolutely stunning views with food at excellent value. Simple but well cooked & presented. Nice to find a cafe that gives honest value for money.

Today we chose to have lunch at this place - BLT for her, fish of the day with chips and salad for me. Ordered at the counter, paid got a number, went to a table and waited, and waited. After approx. 20 minutes I asked one of the staff to check that our order was in the system - after several minutes I was told yes, and sorry about the slow service "we have a new chef". A few minutes later, out came a BLT toasted sandwich with chips - more apologies and "the fish has just been put in the fryer". Around 10 minutes later, when my wife had finished her BLT, my fish, chips and salad emerged. The manager owner? was extremely apologetic, blaming the new "chef". The food was OK. This place is a bit of a shambles - not very clean, sparrows flying in and out, and a clearly inexperienced cook.

Been to Maraetai beach several times but haven’t found any decent cafe there yet. On sunny Sunday, tried other cafes but fully packed. After all popped in here and had brunch. Food was tasty albeit rustic presentation. Good coffee, affordable price, and generous portion but can’t give higher than 3 out of 5. Needs to be improved both in cleanliness and customer service. Cups were not washed properly and the man at the counter, who might be the owner or manager was unwelcoming, blunt,and inhospitable. Also other staff looked so unhappy. Definitely not like the vibes there. Better go to Clevedon or Whitford for brunch. Will never go back.

Cute little cafe across from the beach! Also liked their sign regarding being short staffed, and be kind to those who did show up.

Lovely little cafe overviewing the beach. Great coffee and the cafe manager Sanik was so friendly and helpful. Must try dish is the Fish of the day. Fresh fish and crispy fries. Very much recommended!

DO NOT GO HERE. The cafe was near empty but still took far too long to warm up pre-made pies. The pies were not nice and my pie was cold in some spots. It was like they had only one microwave and sandwich press. The pie itself, steak and cheese did not taste nice and they had added a herb that was not needed. The girls working there seemed unsure of how to serve or male small talk as a customer service sector. Wish I had gone back to get my money.
