The library is located in prime place and next to Manukau Westfield mall. The library has all section books and you can request to pick it up here if the book you are looking for is at some other library. They have free wifi internet, computers to surf internet or do any person work, children quiet play area and reading section. Also has printer for public use at a very nominal cost.
Yes. I am reading a book about goosebumps. New ones I never seen before. Yeah.that gave me good idea to make my own goosebumps story.
Love our local library! The staff are friendly and helpful. My only wish would be to have Spanish and Japanese added to the community languages section books for children. Otherwise we are as happy as we can be!
Since the time I came in New Zealand. I have been visiting it almost everyday of the week for studies. Quiet area upstairs would suit to students. The staff over here is very friendly. Always they make an attempt to get the books you want. The thing which is annoying about this library is the opening hours. Council should make it open for 24 hours, if not this one then any other one. They should try to make any one library in the city open for 24 hours. Other than this everything is good over here.
The research library upstairs is very peaceful, and has plenty of desks with power points and comfy chairs It seems many people don't know about it as it's rather crowded downstairs!
I do like this library, easy to get to and plenty of parking nearby. Just outside manukau mall rather than attached to it. I used to find it a bit busy and noisy at times, but people seem less inclined to hang out there these days.
It is by my best library to go to for research and it is the nearest library to where I live and I have always been to Manukau library for 20 years as before I sometimes use to go to the Manurewa Library but for I know Manukau Library has always been the best one.
Great place to sit and study... use the Research room where it's nice and quiet
It's conveniently located right next to Westfield shopping centre. We got there before it opened so I never got to experience nor explore the inside, however I'm confident it will be a good experience when I go again - as I've never had a bad experience at any Auckland Library. Keep up the awesomeness to all library staff. Xx
Went on Friday to print ONE document. The lady at the desk refused to give me a Visitor Pass. Asking me where I live, asking for my ID.... I go to the library to print a document once or twice a year have never had any issue before. This lady was unkind and arrogant. The library is a place to help people not to be so difficult as she was. Left without any document.
