As a student of this schoolnDo not send your kids here for the love of God, they will be bullied or picked on simply for being a good person while I am a good person and not regularly picked on, I have seen my friends being beaten up or threatened with death for what exactly? Simply being trans and the school has the audacity to say that we are a safe and secure school. NO WE ARENT. There is NO privacy in the Collins road or Mount view restrooms we boys don't even have dividers for the urinals I don't know if this is standard practice in new zealand as I'm from a separate country but where's the privacy in that?nAnd our uniform is 300+ NZD simply to go to school one shirt, pants and pair of socks along with the jacket 300$nSend your kid to a different school we arent a good school we are just MHS but renamed
Zero stars if I could put -5 I would, This school is FERAL kids fighting daily good kids being picked on and threatened, school does nothing about it when you come down angry they tresspass you as an angry parent, they have no communication 3 different stories about a situation then swear black and blue about one of them only to ring back 30min later to say sorry they got it wrong suspending my child who was the VICTIM of an assault, The children are so feral they will take on an adult and teachers stand by watching them swear and abuse parents one of which was trying to fight.. If you have a child who is nice and does well in school I highly highly with all my heart suggest you try another school 4 students have left this school in past week due to bullying, the first week 18 students were suspended the second week 8 students were suspended.. Students make threats with outside assistance to come down to the school and beat on your child... If you care about your child at all DO NOT GO TO THIS FERAL SCHOOL. I would also like to add that some if not all of these 5 star reviews come from people who either work or have investment in the school not many if any are genuine parents without conflicting interest I mean teachers currently working giving 5 stars is like an employee of a donut shop giving its own shop 5 stars.
Kia ora Mangakōtukutuku CollegenI would to take this opportunity to thank the staff and team, for the curriculum that has been provided to our future generation of adults.nOur village attended the hui held at the school recently and was absolutely blown away that this is how the school is being treated and the antics of our future generation.nSince the hui, our village has continued to see the fights on the school campus especially after school. My suggestion to curb this behaviour, would be to ask the community and whanau, to assist in volunteering their time, at least one hour. per week to ensure that our students are leaving the school campus in an orderly fashion. It could also be that students need to be off the school by a certain time unless they have permission to remain. There is more assistance needed to get our kids moving off the school property and going home. Friday, was a good example of kids loitering at the front of the school waiting for something to happen which it did If we had had volunteers available to assist our high vis team , it may have deterred the situation..nIf we are to assist our school in providing a better culture, we need to get involved in whatever capacity, whether it's volunteering or teaching our children at home that respect doesn't cost, having pride in the school uniform can be a start to the making of a good and healthy culture, that is so needed for when our future generation moves into the world.nMauri ora
the worst college of all time and sometimes people can be annoying around the college
