I can honestly say this is the best Junior High school in Hamilton!! The staff are warm and welcoming, the class sizes are initmate so your child doesnt feel forgotten or ignored. There is no bullying or pressure on students, the students are really kind and respectful to each other, that speaks volumes towards their amazing staff, the principle is very nice. If you want to feel confident that your child will be safe and will enjoy their learning experiences in preparation for senior High, this school is a top choice!!

Hamilton Junior High School is an awesome school that has students from year 7 to year 10. The teachers are amazing and the school is like a whanau. Their school values are Mana, Aroha, Maanaki and Ako. The teachers care about the students succeeding and being functioning members of the community. If you are looking for a small single cell school with a whanau feel definately send your kids here. They also have an open door policy if you want to check them out.
The staff are amazing, really involved at making a fun environment for the kids and giving them all the opportunities they can. They provide kind caring support for all the kids and there families. Highly recommended for all.
Absolutely fantastic school! My child has even received extra tuition with the principal which is really helping him. All the teachers are great! He is happy at school.
