We have been on Waiheke island for 5 days now and finally found somewhere that serves a good pub grub meal for a decent price. Was very impressed with our meals. Opening hours varied from those stated but glad we went back when it did open!
I've been to Irish pubs all around the world, but first and last time visiting this pub. Unfriendly service, expensive drinks, no atmosphere, and just not a pleasant experience. Almost no one in the pub, apart from a few obvious regulars, I wonder why!
Owner/bartender should be ashamed to call herself Irish, negative charismanShame that the atmosphere is killed by the moody owner, very unfriendly and traveler’s are less than welcome. Definitely the worst experience that we have had during our staying in Waiheke… specially, the staff and service, unbelievable . I usually don’t like to give a bad review, but this time, they deserve it…nWe wanted to order coffee and they said that they were not selling that morning, and then, I should ask again, after seeing that they were selling to others. Same as the delay with the food, it was more than one hour, and then they said that they made a mistake but after that, they brought us the wrong food …. And even worst, they never asked for sorry and answer us with very bad behavior… not recommended at all
Brief one drink visit but very impressed.
