Came here for lunch and it took 20 minutes for our orders to be taken. I had the Moroccan spiced lamb which was great, but my boyfriend ordered his steak burger medium rare and it came out well done. After waiting another 30 minutes for a new one it also ended up being medium well.Recommended dishesBurger, Lamb Rump
Hearty delicious meals at a great price. We were abit worried about the quality of the steak because the prices were low but what we were served was beautifully cooked & superb value for money. We eat out regularly & were very impressed with the food, prices & service. Highly recommend!
Lovely food but a bad service and not friendly staff. The staff need to take the day off if they can't cope with the busy hours. The young lady serving our table appeared grumpy and rude, rolling her eyes when she was asked to tidy the table we chose to sit. The behaviour of the staff will affect the taste of the food and the level of experience of the customer. Feeling sorry for the chef and his/her great work as the attitude of this person made us to not come back to this place again. Lovely and tasty salad was served in a chipped bowl, these details will put the level down.
Very friendly staff and kudos to the person who put the virgin mojito mocktail on the menu it was sublime. Very refreshing on a hot summer day. I had sirloin steak and was cooked medium rare to perfection.
Average as food ordered the scotch fillet, eggs and chips. Chips were over cooked. Took ages to come out and feel like it would have been better and cheaper just to have cooked it myself. Bread for daughter wasn't very nice
I ordered large meal came in big plate small portion. All kumara was full of socked with oil. Chicken smell very bed. Very disappointment.
Lamb was cooked to divine perfection in housemade horopito. Lighting was neat and there was a fireplace outside should customers get cold. Staff were friendly and regularly checked on our table.
Last minute booking and they were busy. Service was quick and food was excellent, especially the salad. Only exception was the Mac 'n' Cheese we ordered for the children, didn't taste nice and left a bad aftertaste.
The environment was good. We both chose steak meal from their special menu plus kid's meal. I asked for mine medium cook but it was well done. I couldn't be bothered to return it because we waited quite long. The taste was very average. My kid complained the pasta was hard.
Four of us had lunch there today and we left there with our tummies full and smiles on our faces. The service was outstanding. The chap that served us smiled and chatted with us and kept checking in to make sure we were happy. He definitely gets 10 out of 10. Then there's the food. Everything exceeded our expectations. Generous serving sizes with great prices. Absolutely delicious. 10 out of 10. Will definitely be back next time we are in town
