Lone Star Rotorua

Had the best dinner experience on Saturday 13th July. The service was very warm and the best part it we got there 10 mins before they closed and they didn’t turn us away. They crème brûlée is to die for. Thank you Lone star Rotorua.

Came upon this place while searching for a steak dinner in Rotorua. Thought the meals were a little pricey but when the food came we understood why, they were beyond huge. We ordered Steak, pork ribs and pork belly for 3 people. The ribeye steak was decent and the redneck Ribs were tasty and well seasoned. However we all found the pork belly to be a tad too salty for our liking. The buffalo chips that came with the meals were plenty and crispy too. Service was great and the atmosphere was pleasant.

Very good value for food. Emma the waitress and the other staff knows so well about coeliac. They are so friendly and welcoming. They made sure our food is coeliac friendly. I'm amazed how accommodating the restaurant is with our food requirements. They even have allergens chart! The meat is cooked so well.

Amazing service from all staff, specially our waitress Mackenzie was such a lovely!nThe food was delicious with the usual well served Lone Star portions and nice atmosphere. Super recommended and will definitely come back when in Rotorua again :

:n-Probably one of my favourite restaurants from my trip to NZ, nice interior decor of a Cowboy texan Style restaurant.n-Very very decent sized portions at a very reasonable price.n-The redneck ribs were the best item amongst all. Ribs were well seasoned and tender and fell of the bone soft and juicy.n-Friendly staff and excellent service.nn:n-The interior lighting is a little dim, else I loved the overall dining experience otherwise!
