the food here is really good and the service is so nice. The outside seating is also really nice with a lovely view. I will say some of the food lacked a bit of flavour such as the self grilling beef but other than that everything was amazing. they also give you side dishes which is nice.

After hearing glowing reviews from @jasminekim__ on TikTok, I knew I had to make the journey across Auckland to see if this spot lived up to the hype. Let me tell you, it was worth the trip!nnFrom the moment our dishes arrived, I was impressed with the presentation. Every plate looked thoughtfully crafted, each item both visually unique and absolutely appetizing.nnNow, let’s talk about the standouts. The Beef Tartare and Scallop Tataki were hands-down my favourites. The freshness and balance of flavours hit just right. As for the Tenderloin Scotch, it was melt-in-your-mouth tender and perfectly seasoned, quickly earning my dad’s stamp of approval. On the other hand, the Mackerel missed the mark for my mom, coming off a bit too salty for her liking. The Pancake, while tasty, didn’t quite reach the level of crispiness I was hoping for, but overall, the meal delivered in flavour.nnThe hospitality here deserves a shout-out. The staff were friendly, professional, and went out of their way to be accommodating. They even provided us with a table leaf, a small gesture I haven’t seen in a while but one that made a big difference.nnThe restaurant itself is clean and modern, with an amazing view to top it all off. However, finding parking was a bit of a hassle. Next time, I’ll be following their advice and park near the library on 17 Rawene Road or at Hammond Place.nnWhile the food was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented, I couldn’t help but feel that the menu lacked a clear identity. It’s almost as if the dishes, although great, didn’t tie together into a cohesive experience. That said, I share this with the best intentions—it’s still a fantastic spot worth trying.

Great atmosphere on a Saturday evening. Kind owners who took the time to explain the menu and really loved the food. Specially the spicy fried chicken and beef bulgogi.

It’s a more Premium Korean restaurant than your usual Korean food place from $28-40. If you love a good view while you are eating, they surely can provide that. The food was great, strong punchy flavour and you can refill your side dishes 1-2 times.

We came by without a booking and were able to get a table outside. The restaurant looks small but it does extend to the back too. As a table became available inside, we were able to move in.nThe menu is very interesting and has quite a few tasty-sounding items. We grabbed a dish each and shared it amongst ourselves. We started with soju and got dried fish with it. We grabbed three different BBQs Galbi, beef tongue, and pork belly, as well as the eel deopbap and the scallops to share.nThe scallops were really nice. juicy and tasty. Each of the main came with four banchan and miso soup. The BBQ also came with dipping sauces and wrapping items. The food was really nice. My only complaint is the portions were on the smaller side.nIt is definitely a nice place for some more traditional Korean food. There were a few items on other tables that looked really tasty too. It might also be worth booking to ensure you get a table.
