Absolutely loved this place! We were suggested this bar after visiting minus 5 ice bar. Loved the atmosphere, bar tenders are passionate about the drinks they make. We opted for 'trust your bartender' and this was the best decision ever! Delicious drinks, awesome to have a surprise drink that really matched what I felt like. We liked this place so much we couldn't help but come back after dinner as well. They had live music which added to the atmosphere. I really can't recommend this place enough! Staff amazing and atmosphere unmatched, not to mention exceptional drinks.
Went to Little Blackwood for some pre dinner drinks. The drinks are well made and balanced. Very thing is elevated and elegant. Love the small details such as the stamped logo on the ice cube. Super detailed cocktail menu, a lot of options which surely will appeal to anyone and everyone. Service was friendly. Amazing vibe in the place!
Visited this cute little place. Nice atmosphere, staff were lovely and welcoming. Live music was awesome! Had some delicious cocktails here They are slightly pricey but the cocktails are so yummy and delicious! Defs recommend!
A lovey little bar with very friendly staff. It’s especially nice if you can get an outdoor table. They have great heaters to keep you comfortable. The cocktail menu has plenty to offer including 5 different espresso martinis. I liked the “salty nuts” martini the best. The main reason it doesn’t get five stars for me is that of the 3 times we went during our trip, we weren’t able to order food any of the times. There were always limitations or issues with the suppliers. We just wanted something to nibble and would have stayed longer/ordered more drinks if we could have like the chips or a pizza, but it was always unavailable for one reason or another. The only option that does seem to be reliably available are the cheese and meat boards, but as vegetarians that wasn’t of interest. A vegetarian snack board would be a great addition!
Amazing little spot!! We went there several times during our stays in Queenstown and it was so great. They have very talented bartenders and the cocktails are amazing. They have a “trust your bartender” option which is always fun. Great views and patio if it’s nice day. Cozy and cute inside if it’s rainy. The cheese boards are outstanding. Highly recommend!!!
It was a cool afternoon, we wandered past and saw a gas log fire burning well, and the blackboard outside said mulled wine. We checked that the mulled wine was coeliac friendly, the 2 bartenders went through the ingredients list with me. Excellent customer service. The mulled wine was well presented and tasted fantastic. Two thumbs up. The mulled wine was so nice that we went back later in the afternoon, once there we found it was happy hour and several drinks and cocktails were at a very good price. The place was pumping with great music and it had a great atmosphere. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Great job everyone.
Excellent cocktails. But also, and take note please, a number of top of the range Scotch malt whiskies. Visit this bar. Happy hour 4-6 pm.
Nice atmosphere for a cocktail and cheese board in the hustle and bustle of the busy area. Good little corner patio on the water. GREAT quality and content in the cheese board and happy hour deals!
I was expecting this to be on the same level as Dead Shot in Ponsonby I don’t know why, I just did however, it missed the mark for us. I felt bad because I’d assured my group of friends from out of town that it had excellent reviews but none of us enjoyed our cocktails. Perhaps we ordered the wrong thing. Out door seating is very comfortable with a lovely view of the water and outdoor heating.
Have been here multiple times throughout my stay in Queenstown. The drinks are exceptional always do the 'Trust your bartender', and the service is next level as well. Definitely the best bar in Queenstown, if not NZ.
