I love going to the movies here! A really nice experience, always great service, and a good selection of refreshments including some local staples! The couches in the cinemas are awesome too!
Maybe the best cinema in NZ. Staff is friendly, acoustic perfect, seats are comfy as well. The only star missing is for the cleanliness.. Also to minimise Covid spread, they could clean and sanitise seats a bit more
A very cool little cinema, perfect for watching non-hollywood blockbusters. Good for docos or indie films. I love the seating how it's a 2 seater wilth pillows. Cinema was very clean and comfortable. I recommend this place.

Love love love lighthouse!! I go every week to see a new release and the staff and atmosphere is all so so lovely! Often I go alone which could be quite intimidating but it’s always a wonderful experience!!
Honestly I was about to head to this lovely cinema. It looks great, the seats look comfy as, a friend said it was nice buuuuuuut it all crashed when I read the reviews and saw that there was nooooo popcorn……. So I will not even bother on going. Pleeaaaaasse BRING BACK THE POPCORN TO THE CINEMAS!!!!
I enjoyed seeing one of the French film festival movies here last night. Comfy seats and only found out there is a lounge upstairs to enjoy a drink before the movie. Good wine and beer selections, you can order a small or large glass of wine. Staff are helpful, I forgot my mask and they sought one out and provided one for me. Patrons are a mix of ages.
Relatively small cinema but I love it! I came here for a fundraising event where we had the screening of Thor Love and Thunder. The event was started with the brief reception at the mezzanine then we watched the movie in the ground floor. The theater is nice, the sofa is comfortable and the screen as well as the audio is great. They also have cafe shop where you can get your favorite flat white, cappuccino, or hot choco and other drinks as well as snack. But sadly no popcorns! Hopefully they will have one soon. They have different programs everyday in a week and also offer discounts for students. They even have programs for moms or sitters so they can bring their toddlers and babies. I love that! The toilets are clean. It might be a bit tricky with the parking but there's a parking building around the area. I would definitely be back here again!
Compact but cozy place for movies like phantom thread. Suitable for couples, seniors or even alone. You can order food or drinks and bring them into the cinema. The sofa-seats are lovely.
