Stunning theater! Restored by Peter Jackson to all its glory.
A must-go theatre in the city. Love the cozy and classy ambience which will bring you to a vintage feeling and somehow help enjoy every show. The movie collections are wide and in trend. Staff are really friendly. Just grab some popcorn and enjoy the movie!
Treat yourself to a Phantom of the Opera type theater for your movies experience
Best in Nz, quality and tradition. Their chocolate coated kapiti plum ice creams are a gem. Super comfy wide seats, great sound and if you know the number, you can book Frodo's seat!!
Spacious room. Good view even from 3rd floor. TV in lounge had no sound on TV 3 and only half as many channels as TV in bedroom weird. Dish cloth and tea towel but no dish wash liquid for dishes. It's the little things. Overall pretty good.
Cute little cinema, with a nice bar. Good service, good location, comfy seats

Beautiful world class theatre! The meticulous attention to every single detail during it's restoration and operation today is sublime. Real professionalism at every level. Dedicated vision and on-going love affair for this theater and it's city.
