Erin is a member of Helensville pony club representing Kumeu district/Waitemata in eventing, show jumping and mounted games. Was a member of the Timberlands eventing team, Cambridge showjumping and New Zealand Mounted Games association Champion 3 years running. She went to then sign a jockey apprenticeship at age 16. Racing took her through Australia working for trainers Steve Richards, Tim Martin, David Balfour, Will Clarken and Lloyd Kennewell and learning from some very experienced horsemen at tracks including Flemington Melbourne, Rosehill Sydney and Morphettvile Adelaide.
Erin is based on her parents 450 acre farm on Wilson road, South Head. Facilities include full show jumping, basic cross country, bush trails, a lake the horses can swim in and much more.
Over night farm stays for riders and horses too. There are cabins available with kitchen/bbq and bathroom facilities.
There are some beautifully bred Swedish warm blood/Hanoverian part bred young stock occasionally for sale.
The farm is also available for casual riding on your own horses.
