Called and tried to explain a serious, time-sensitive medical situation involving warfarin for a mechanical heart valve. Unfortunately, the response I got felt more like a bored teenager on a summer job than a healthcare professional.nnThe staff member was dismissive, uninterested, and confidently gave incorrect information about prescription acquisition, which is honestly worrying when you’re talking about a life-critical medication. A simple “I don’t know, let me check” would have been far more reassuring than rushed, throwaway answers.nnWhen people walk into a pharmacy, especially in a small community like Green Island, they’re usually looking for guidance and responsibility, not shrug-level customer service.nnHopefully this feedback helps improve staff training, particularly when it comes to high-risk medications where accuracy and care actually matter.
