Went in last week and it was BUSY. Great. Except there were multiple trolleys with no one attending to them full of broken down cardboard boxes and products to put on the shelf. The shops aisles are already small enough it made it difficult to get around and everyone was trying to weave and duck around the trolleys. Makes it look super messy too!
Don't know why they bother with security, if they are worried about shoplifting that would entail having product on the shelves.nSo frustrating to always find the shelves bare.nI have been to dozens of chemist warehouse in NZ and Australia and never had an issue Dunedin must be an embarrassment to the brandnMaybe a lesson in retail basics wouldn't go astray.nBargain Chemist much better.
Owner of this store does not value his customers. They accused my child to open the packaging of a toy worth $7 and asked us to pay, when I asked them to show us the cameras to make sure and they refused and asked us to leave and never come back if we wouldn't pay. We had no problem paying bu just wanted to make if it was our child or someone else. Staff was so rude and did not cooperate. I paid any way but would not recommend to go there as you never know how much they rob you from by making false accusations. Beware of these kind of stores.
You should make it clear that your not allowed to bring a drink into your shop. Even tho you sell drinks... There is no sign at the front door to state your not allowed... your security person asked me to leave because I had a Starbucks coffee in my hand. I've spent thousands of dollors with you and now You have lost a sale and I will not be back because of your b.s store policy that you have not stated!!! Shame
Just a heads-up—don’t bother going to the Chemist Warehouse store in Dunedin. I went there from Cromwell to buy the Goli Natural Gum like I usually do, but the product was faulty. I called to ask for a replacement and was told I’d have to drive back to Dunedin just so they could look at it. No help at all over the phone.nnI’ve had much better experiences ordering online. When something goes wrong, they actually replace the item and send it out—no drama. In-store, I had to explain the same thing to four different people and still got nowhere.nnHonestly, save yourself the time and just shop online.
