Lantern

We really enjoyed our experience here. Lovely wait staff and we did not have to wait long for our food and it was well presented and very tasty. Compliments to the chef!nWe will definitely be back!

My first time dining in at Lantern, and it was epic. Amazing service by Bronson, really informative, talked us through how the shared plates worked and how much would be needed for the 5 of us. It was perfect!! Every meal was delicious.. Definitely will be back. Such a Hidden gem in Papamoa.

We had the vegan chefs recommendation and the food was amazing! So delicious, fresh and tasty. The cocktails refreshing. The staff super friendly and helpful. The space itself beautiful! Lots of trees, green and shade. We would def recommend to anyone in Papamoa.

It seems that the art of Customer Service has been lost in this modern world with teenagers or untrained staff seeming to not really give a shit. But not at Lantern. The food was divine, as always. The drinks were nice but what stuck out more than anything was the service we received from our young waiter. Only 18 years old but this young fella has been groomed and trained well. He was onto it, fun, friendly and knowledgeable. A pleasure to deal with. Thanks Lantern and thanks young man. You were awesome.

Super delicious! So much flavour and little additions to each dish. We got the vegan chefs choice menu and there was so much food! 5 entree/small plates which weren’t that small at all!, then the main & a dessert. We couldn’t fit in the main course which was a pumpkin yellow curry with delicious roti. We could bring it home though. Highly recommend whether vegan or not. Great flavours! Great cocktails too!
