A shop with a very comfortable environment. The service is very attentive, and the dishes feel very French. It seems that the origin and taste are as classic as possible, not like an eclectic version made to cater to New Zealand tastes. It belongs to the store that I like to drive for half an hour to come and go.
Hidden treasure. I went there by my french colleague. They have nice cabinet foods and cheese. You would enjoy even you dont know any french name on the menu. I am going for food menu next time. Cant wait to go there. But little salty.
Delicious meals and sweets. My family and I really enjoyed this place. We are sure to visit againFood: 5/5
Always go for lunch here when in Auckland. Great trad French food, always perfectly cooked and presented. It also has a fab cheese shop and an amazing wine cellar upstairs.
This place is an hidden gem, my partner and I went there for breakfast today and we loved it. The food is amazing and everything is so Authentic, they have a great selection of cabinet food and an amazing selection of French cheese, they also have a wine cellar with affordable wine from France. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Highly raccomande it if you love wine and cheese.
I sent an email through the website but sadly I haven’t had a response. My husband and I love eating here. The food is great and the atmosphere is very charming. Usually the customer service is amazing. However, a few Saturday’s ago we had lunch and had an unpleasant experience. A staff member - a young tall man who speaks Spanish - was speaking very, very poorly about the boss/owner in front of your customers. He was speaking Spanish, so perhaps he didn’t expect us to understand but my husband is South American and I speak basic Spanish. This staff member proceeded to criticize his boss saying he was “useless” and some other very, very nasty names which I won’t put on here. He was complaining because of some situation with his work visa and the boss was a swear word for not doing it faster. Listening to what he was saying about the owner was very disturbing and my husband and I looked at each other and couldn't believe this was being said within hearing distance. I’m not sure if the other customers around us also understood what he was saying. This makes the place seem like it’s a toxic work environment and as a customer it’s very difficult to support. Perhaps suggesting to your staff to keep the in house politics for the back because your customers shouldn't hear it. Like I say the food and atmosphere is lovely and we will come back and hopefully change the feedback if we have a good experience next time, which we normally do. If I was rating the wine, cheese, food and place it would be 5 stars. But we hope in the future, the experience won’t be soured by a staff member who clearly hates his boss. It really ruined our experience this time.
Definitely a gastronomic delight. Enjoyed the ham and cheese croissant with a tasty salad on the side and a small bottle of a French white. Pear tart for dessert. My friend had the duck sausage and is a regular patron. Always busy and popular.
5 star, very rare and hardly spotted. This place is just great, coffee is nicely roasted and with plenty of punch however the food is the real winner here and their huge variety of take away Cheeses. Love the steak with blue cheese and the duck is also very special. See Pics This could go down as my last supper. We will be back again and again and again!!
Great! Great! Foods are delicious! Really adore duck sausages and potato with bacon. And the steak is also good! Don’t forget duck liver... with breads! The second floor is a wine cellar, calming and cozy... buy some French wines for your friends ! I am absolutely regular customer
Must try eating place in Auckland. Authentic French. The menu and even the pastry are different from the everyday cafe. For a regular wine lover or beginner, a half bottle is a good starter.Food: 4/5
