Kings Garden Cafe

A Great and quite place to sit down, have a chat and relax. Atmosphere is very cozy and relaxing especially sitting amongst all the plants and greenery. Eating area inside is very clean and modern. Would definitely go back again for the Kings Breakfast. Well priced. Parking: Across the railway tracks for the Orakei train station. About +-20 spots.

One of the best brunch spots in Auckland. Great setting, delicious food and good coffee. Can't ask for much more!

Has gone downhill unfortunately. Still a lovely environment, but the food was a disappointment. Ordered Crumbed Cauliflower which was a tiny meal. Couldn't find the cauliflower, was more like a tiny fritter. The salad was tired and sad looking. The coffee was okay. Won't be returning. This is now the second time I've been in the last few months. Both times lacking.

Used to liked this place but not after today's experience. it has gone downhill for sure. The soy latte was burnt and the sausage roll was awful, old and the meat in it was off. had such a bad aftertaste even after one bite. We changed it to Frittata but that wasn't any better either. Lacked flavour and taste. Never gonna go back there again.

It is such a bold move to maintain a café near all the competition, including the original Bird on a Wire and Palmers' Café Greenfingers. Despite its location, this café is not only very successful, but also very nice. The service is amazing, the food is high quality and the prices are reasonable. Yes, the children near the little play area outside can be loud, but they just add more to the charm of this place. I can't wait to visit again soon when the sun is shining.

Excellent coffee and I love the cooked menu - great portions and delicious! But the best bit is the caravan full of kids toys and the trampoline!! So easy to take the kids here when they can entertain themselves!!

This place is new and the food is absolutely delicious, one of my favourite places in this area. A unique experience dining in a kings plant barn, but definitely worth it for the food.

Very Average. Cauliflower fritters were tiny and salad looked past its best. This is the third visit and each time is the same. Too average for another visit

There was a staff that as very rude so we ended up not dining. Ruined our sunday morning

Worst attitude ever, We have been waiting for 45mins and kids are so hungry, we tripled checked as we saw tables are there, the manager just said: that is not my problem. Never want to come back again. Very rude manager.
