Kidds has been a local favourite for years. Rebuilt on a slightly different site but still very close to the old site after all the Christchurch earthquakes, it is now more popular than ever. The pie I chose from a great range to take home was superb. Their Hot Cross Buns are amongst the best in New Zealand. Well worth a visit.
I would like to give a big thankyou to Kidd's Cakes for doing a fantastic job on my sons 21st cake I have been dealing with you guys since you had your first shop your no1 in my books a job well done Thankyou
We love coming here and the staff are lovely. I do find that it is cold sitting in the cafe though. Many people sitting in the cafe are wearing their outdoor jackets which should not be necessary inside in a cafe. There is a fire but it is almost never on which is a shame because it would make things easier.
Always consistent. Great selection and friendly staff. A good place to either grab a takeaway or sit down in nice Cafe for a full selection from the bakery or kitchen. Very popular.
I recently had a cake made here for a wedding anniversary. The design was based on one of their cakes on their website with a couple of alterations. They did a superb job and the cake surpassed our expectations. On top of that it was delicious. The couple that the cake was made for were delighted with the result.
Coffee only warm and food also not hot. Was nice just not hot enough. Service and staff were lovely and very polite.
The absolutely best bakery for custom birthday cakes. Exceeded my expectations. AA+
Never disappointed. Reliable kai/food. Good parking
