Moving into St Alban’s currently and had to try this cafe.nnBest coffee we have had so far in the area.nnI had a Streak and Blue cheese pie and a sausage roll.nThe pastry and amount of meat in the pie was really good.nThe blue cheese was nice and creamy overall delicious but rich.nThe sausage roll was pretty good. It was a nice touch having free sauce available.nnMy mom had the vegetarian quiche. It had mushroom capsicum onion and tomato in it. It looked pretty good.nnDefinately going back. Next time I plan to get a filled roll the range looked great.
I ordered the white gingerbread tree.nThe service was exceptional allowing me to order even though I was over the 3 day timeframe - thank you!nThe tree looked just like the picture but even better. It was truly beautiful and a work of art.nThe only let down was the gingerbread was quite hard and extremely crumbly. Not really pleasant to eat. I wondered if the tree was meant for decorative purposes only but assumed the website would of advised as such.
Good for a local cup of coffee and standard bakery fare. Food prep was a little slow, but otherwise, the staff were very kind. Seating isn't flash, but tons of windows and light to help wake you up with your morning joe.
Literally the worst mince pie of my entire life. If it was Me vs a Bear and I had this pie in hand I'd let the bear eat me before I even considered letting him suffer the same fate as I after consuming it. It's like a pie of jelly meat I'd perhaps feed the cat, but that's only because I don't like cats as much as I like bears.nnAnd the service, absolutely dismal, rude and non engaging, they really don't want to be there - none of them.nnGo visit a real bakery like Darfield and see how it's really done. New owners here at a guess, as what was already bad has gotten worse!
Delicious banana cake made by Kidds Cakes for my mother's birthday. Tasted great! Though be warned, it is quite a rich cake - just the way I like it. My fiancée said I didn't take a nice enough photo for the review so I tried to spice things up with a cute photo of the cake by the fire place. So romantic.
