Nice local bakery with excellent very friendly service. As vegan I wish there were some options of veg , diary free , egg free pies and bakes. I know it’s not common , but will be great to have something to chose. Tried apple pie and it was ok , just too sweet for my tooth. Good coffee and tea options !
This is our second favorite pie shop in town. Great variety, and I have not had a bad pie here. In fact, I always have to buy multiple!nnAlso, I love that they have Three Llamas coffee, this is my favorite coffee roasters. Kids love the smiley faces. We love the slices.nnHonestly, everything is great. the only slight downside is the packs of biscuits are priced a bit high, but we dont go there for this. we go for the great coffee and great pies.
Such a bunch of nice friendly people. The food is spot on especially the Pies and coffee.
Cashier at the halswell bakery flirted with my boyfriend infront of me, very disrespectful and after I told her politely not to, she rolled her eyes at me. Very disrespectful will not be coming here again after staff are treating customers like this.
Looking forward to when the new premises are open. Friendly staff and great food. Beaut chicken pies, custard tarts and biscuits. Highly recommend.
