Close to work so Came here for late lunch and bought a pepper steak pie and jam bun. Their pies are second to none so Inwasn't surprised that it tasted so delicious as always. Peppery and full of meat with tasty gravy. And the jam bun was soft and easy to eat; I liked the icing the best, very generous on top. The staff are friendly as always too. Six stars
Nice local bakery with excellent very friendly service. As vegan I wish there were some options of veg , diary free , egg free pies and bakes. I know it’s not common , but will be great to have something to chose. Tried apple pie and it was ok , just too sweet for my tooth. Good coffee and tea options !

Amazing afghans! Nice coffee, polite young staff and a great selection of very well priced food. Shop seemed a little messy, perhaps they just had a rush. Can't wait to try more treats!
Had high expectations of new premises as always loved the food but felt space for customers was always limited, it’s a popular wee shop! Sadly i felt the new shop was still cramped. I came in for something sweet further along the counter but could not peruse the selection as people were looking at the pie selection and I could not get around due to a table in the middle of the customer space. I think this would enable a better flow if removed. Other than that the food and service was delightful as usual. Hats off to the young lady single handedly running back and forth taking orders, bagging and relaying the order to the till to ring it up, I’m sure she smashes her daily step goals!
