Although this shop is small and nowhere to eat, the pies are the best in Christchurch. All their bakery food is always fresh, even at 2pm. A huge range of pies Service is happy and pleasant.
I would rate the mince and cheese pie hundred percent the best pie ever out of this bakery. Best bakery in Christchurch. Thank you guys keep up the good work.
Steak and cheese pie is the best. Succulent, decent quantity of meat and the pastry is crisp and flaky.nNoticed a lot of comments regarding price, if you shop around for pies now in the current economy, that is the average price. If I am going to pay 7 dollars for a pie, I'd rather buy it here and be satisfied rather than to have a dry, smaller version for the same price.nnGood job Aorangi bakery :
Possibly the most expensive bakery in Christchurch, $4 for a savoury and $9 for a pie. I understand times are tough but thats daylight robbery. Lots of great options around town at close to half the price. Definite one star!
Been here twice now and both times the pies have been disappointing along with the cheese and onion roll that wasn’t edible. Bakery has some positives but the mince and cheese pie was quite watery and lacking flavour.
