Kererū Discovery NZ is a Non-Profit Organization supported by Wellington City Council. Set up to help with the protection and education of one of New Zealand's most important endemic birds.
Kererū Discovery is run by Tony Stoddard. Tony has had over 10 years’ experience working with kererū and other native birds.
Kererū Discovery also coordinates the Great Kererū Count (GKC) with WWF-NZ. The GKC is one of New Zealand's largest citizen science projects held each year in September.
