We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed it.nYes, the pictures look like its from a 1950s time warp, but this is a really neat, clean, quiet and comfortable good value motel.nWe slept well in clean, comfortable beds. The towels were soft and fluffy. The room was serviced each day. The kitchen worked well. Staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. Laundry facilities were good value, effective and efficient. Free parking is outside your door. It is easily and well located, within a short walk to town facilities.nWe'd recommend to friends and happily stay here again.
Had the best stay at kauri lodge 2 nights .nVery comfortable close to town , hostess was lovely checked on us showers are great nice and clean . We travelled with our dogs who are not small but they were welcomed i just like to thank our host from the bottom of our hearts for allowing them to stay inside .nThey enjoyed the early morning walks around the park that’s close by . Definitely a place we would book again .
Stayed for 8 nights,unit was lovely and clean and serviced everyday,which we didn’t expect.nLoida was very welcoming and pleasant and always had time for a quick chat.nClose to everything we needed.nWould definitely stay there again.nWe also had our little dog with us so was great to have a nice place to stay with her.
The rooms were cleaned daily, All visitors respected your privacy, Staff were friendly and helpful, Summertime is a better choice for stay overs.nMeals can be bought locally and easily accessible, local transport minutes away.nnKeep in mind, Going travelling either North or South as we did between Cape Reinga and The Bay of Islands, you have the privilege of returning to your rooms at the Kauri Lodge in Kaitaia with fresh bedding, towels and tea or coffee readily supplied.nnEnjoy your time relaxing and take time for yourself, in the company of others wether family or friends.Should you stop over to holiday or just escaping from the rat-race,you will not be disappointed staying in the Kauri Lodge, Kaitaia.nnMataara Waitohi.
This motel is immaculately clean and tidy and the operators are super friendly. It's in original condition but is good value.
