If you take a close look at the reviews, you might assume that many of them are not genuine.nnUnfortunately, if they are all true, we cannot confirm them at all. We had to leave after just one night as our flight was brought forward. We asked the owner for a discount or to cancel the second night. He said we had to clarify this via Booking, otherwise his hands were tied. Unfortunately, the owner did not keep his word and ignored Booking.nnVery unpleasant, not trustworthy. The rooms are very old and Kaitaia is not exactly the best place to stay in NZ. High crime rate
The rooms are a lot better than I expected. Clean, comfortable, have the basic necessities and perfect for us. The service is beautiful, friendly, and accomodating. We have our 3yr old with us and there is a playground and skate park just across the road and the motel is just walks away from the food places in town.
We loved our stay here. Good location: it's close to restaurants and shops and there's a playground across the street which is really helpful when you are travelling with kids. The room has everything you need and the staff is amazing; super friendly and willing to help all the time. We will definitely be back.
Good place to stay. Friendly and good service. Tidy and comfortable. Clean linen, towels and everything provided. It’s a pet friendly accommodation.nThank you for that. Highly recommended.
Older building but very clean, great pool, fast wifi, very clean, and even got little soaps/shampoo and tea/coffee. Feel like the owners go the extra mile.
