Story

Our boarding kennels are modern, purpose built facilities just 6kms from Palmerston North. Set on 10 acres, our rural setting even has its own walking track set around the perimeter, and an acre of grass paddock to excercise dogs off lead.

Please also enquire about our heated deluxe suites for pampered pooches!

I’m really sorry to have to write this, but my dog did not have a good experience here. She has visited I think three times, and on her latest visit she didn’t even want to go through the door. She’s actually been banned… for digging a hole… for goodness sake! Imagine, a dog digging a hole! I wonder if the staff stopped for moment to think about why she might be digging? When I saw the enclosure they had her in I was hardly surprised… it was really small, and with gravel underfoot…and she’d dug a big hole so it seems likely that she wasn’t being supervised as they didn’t stop her from digging for quite a while. When I had initially booked her in, I looked at the place, with it’s beautiful rural setting and thought ‘awesome, she’ll be able to run around, grass under her feet…’ Maybe some dogs get this treatment, but mine did not, she was basically in dog jail. Probably for the best that she won’t be going back.
awesome place for our dog as he can socialize in a controlled environment and there is grooming as well as boarding options here, the only downside is if you have to turn right exiting the entrance at certain times of the day
Turned up to drop my dog off. No staff supervising the day care dogs, waited for 30mins, when staff did turn up were incredibly rude. Would not leave my dog there
The dogs came back happy and clean ! I would use again
Wonderful place, Spud our Pomeranian always comes home happy. Also highly recommend their new dog groomer Sue, she did an amazing job on Spud he’s never been so soft and fluffy!
As always amazing service and our dog comes home happy and tired everytime. Have used them while away on holiday a few times too and very trust worthy! Highly recommend
Left my dog here for a week, while on holiday. Could not recommend them enough!! Very friendly staff and took great care of my dog! Will definitely be coming back
Highly recommended! Our dog has been going to day care at K9 Clipz for a few months now and we just had her in for her first overnight stay. The team are not only super understanding with our nervous dog, but also her nervous parents! Thanks for looking after her so well :
We were recommended this place by someone who had previously had a good experience there. Someone else had to drop our boy off but when we went to collect him the reception from the young lady in the office was far from friendly. We were passed our puppy through the window and handed his belongings. We got home and discovered his lead was missing. When we contacted them they said it's not here. We were told "We don't take leads" and offered no apology or anything. We will not be back.
Very pleased how my dog was groomed when we last visited. Unfortunately just a bit far for us to go to and in such a busy road to get out of, but still worth it. Great service!!!
