Miki is amazing at what she does. It was clear the moment my massage began that Miki takes great care to ensure your experience is as comfortable and relaxing as possible - the space is so warm and inviting. I left my massage feeling so happy and relaxed. Thanks again Miki, and I cant wait for my next appointment!
Miki is AMAZING! I have been enjoying her massages for years and would never go anywhere else. I am currently 38 weeks pregnant and she gave me the most beautiful massage yesterday. She’s such a lovely person and takes her profession very seriously. The 1 star reviews on here are bullsh*t! I’m sorry but they’re just con artists! Miki is the best in town.
I'm 30 weeks pregnant and went to Hana Akari for the first time for a pregnancy massage. The massage itself was good the only thing I wasn't overly comfortable with was the cold reception when I walked through the door maskless as I didn't have a mask with me. Miki instantly asked me to put a mask on and I asked if she has one I could wear. She pointed to the box so I picked one out. She then asked me if I had received her text message about covid guidelines and at the time I was unsure what she was talking about and she asked if I'd read the terms and conditions when booking. I replied yes and apologized that I did not have a mask with me to walk in with. She then asked me to hand sanitize and she took my temperature. She took me down to the massage room and told me where to put my things. During the massage Miki put a towel over my head so I instantly became quite hot and congested from the heat with having my head and face covered. I created gaps to create some airflow. After the massage, Miki didn't engage in any conversation and I said thank you and left. Unfortunately I won't be returning due to this cold reception as I didn't feel 100% comfortable in Miki's presence.
Best massage I've had in a long time !!! Miki knew where the knots were in my shoulders and focused more on them which was absolutely amazing !!! I will be returning for another massage. Love it!
Amazing and professional. Hana Akari is a place that genuinely cares about your wellbeing which is reflected on the popular book times that is consistently booked out. Be sure to give Hana Akari a go. Consistent pain and joints and stiffness of muscles is a problem of yesterday.
I have been to regular massages, reflexology and facials since Miki started in this salon and I'm more than happy every time. My whole family has been to Miki with excellent results and I have recommended Miki to many friends who loved her style and her massage skills . I have experienced Miki as a very flexible and generous person, so the previous complaining review is impossible to believe. Miki gets 5.5 stars from me!
I would not recommend this place. I came here 4 times because it's close to my place. The first twice massaging itself was not bad, however, every single time, the massaging was 5-10 minutes short. The very last time I visited, it was 8 minutes short again. I finally decided to speak up and tell Miki that my massage was short, and she refused to admit it. That's just very DISAPPOINTING and RUDE! **I arrive on time every time!!! One 90 minutes massage is $125, so in long run, it's a waste of money. To the owner's reply below, I can only say, LIAR can make up anything! Your reply made me laugh with all the inaccurate and made-up time stamps and stories.

Miki’s massages are amazing! I’ve been going to Miki for 90 minute deep tissue massages for well over a year and they are the best around, hands down. I’ve tried other massage therapists but none come anywhere close. I was referred by a friend, and I have in turn referred several of my own friends and they all say the same. Miki’s massages are the best! I’m always looking forward to my next one. If it isn’t clear by now, I’d highly recommend :
Amazing, relaxing massage, with delicious scents in a beautiful space on Cuba Street. There are also very good Covid-19 safety practices.
