Every time I order chips I always get them and they’re overcooked! And oily as. More oil than the potato. Yous need to put your game on!!!
Best fish and chips in town
Some of the best fish and chips in town, the chicken nibbles are delicious and the burgers are amazingnThey've been in Taupo my whole life and have always been one of the best and tastiest. Every year.
Bought 8 chicken thighs and chips for $45. Got home and upon biting into the chicken, spat it out straight away, it tasted rotten. Smelt it, it smelt rotten. I Thought maybe it was just a bad piece, so broke open a second thigh and smelt it, rotten as well. Took the entire pack straight back and told them, but they would only refund $32, they charged us for the two rotten chicken that had been broken + the chips I guess. I can only assume they plan on reselling the 6 chicken we didn't touch. Disgusting, worrying and bad service. Should have been given a full refund and an apology at the very least. We don't usually go here as there fish tastes old regularly. Definitely sticking to Double Happy Takeaways from now on.
