Great service, went the extra mile to bag food when they saw I had a pram. Food was delish, not too oily like some fish n chip shops. We had the sweet and sour pork on rice dish which hit the spot too.
We were directed here by two woman working in a cafe by the Otumuheke Stream hot pools who said this is the best fish & chips in Taupo. They were correct! Excellent fish, expertly fried, in HUGE portions, at low prices. The friendly staffer who took our order advised that we order LESS food because the portions are so big. She was correct too! We will be back!
Sadly my pork fried rice was chicken...yuck. Chips were delicious.
We ended up here on the recommendation of a retired geothermal expert!nnThe food totally delivered on value – affordable, delicious, and with huge portions! The staff were incredibly friendly, and there were plenty of options to choose from :-
Amazing food, huge selection, incredible prices. The menu is available online but there's a whole other Chinese food menu that you can get for dinner buffet style. Just pay for the box size.nnAmazing service too.
