Visited today with an original booking for 1pm however we were 45mins early after getting done with what we were doing. They very kindly took us. Explained how it all works and were very accommodating. The gentleman who dealt with us upon arrival was so helpful. Upon seeing me on crutches he told me to let him know when leaving and he would reverse the escalator for me to gey down to the street level again from the restaurant. I really felt this was so kind of him as I would never have asked and would have tackled the stairs. The restaurant wasn't too busy, there was screens up and we felt very very safe for my mums birthday treat. The place was clean and tidy. Food was delicious and very fresh! We will definitely be back again. I would strongly recommend booking in advance as one large group was turned away when we entered. Possibly down to the number they allow in as per covid guidelines.
This place was great. Loved the warm edamames, the spicy tuna poke bowl and all the siders. The staff was super friendly and you can order from their website or just take the dishes from the roller.
Food was beautiful. Looked amazing but too ages to arrive. The place was mostly empty yet still took them around 30 minutes to deliver. The service staff were kind and helpful. Nice view also.
Really fast service. Lots of space. All ordering is done via app, and you have an LED strip on the table telling you when your order is in the kitchen and on the way to you. Delivery is generally done via conveyor belt. BEAUTIFUL views of Princes Street, the gardens and the edge of Old Town. Delicious food. Portion sizes are slightly on the smaller side, but sushi is filling. Presentation was lovely.
The ordering system was good. Just had to scan on the table and pay. Apart from it, a unique conveyor belt was running at the boundary of the entire restaurant. On it all the dishes were kept and passing here and there. If you find something tempting, you have to pick it up and inform the waiter at the end so that you can pay them separately for it. Service was quite good. I would say not good for large groups due to the seating arrangement it had. Food I tried: 1Veggie Firecracker Rice- The quantity was good but overall taste was more tangy. 2 Inari Taco- It was served cold, but tasted really good. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options were there from small plates to meals.
It's yo sushi, so fairly good experience. Really nice view if you are by the windows. All ordering is done via your phone which is great if you don't want to interact with anyone too... Wheelchair accessibility: Not very wheelchair accessible. Main access is via escalator, restaurant itself is quite cramped.
It was our first time trying Japanese cuisine/ sushi. Starters we had Chicken katsu stuffed sushi , chicken dumplings. Main course- Chicken teriyaki bowl and Chicken katsu bowl. Dessert- Mochi ball. Overall interesting experience food being served from conveyor belt -food was ready pretty fast and lovely view of Edinburgh castle. Location wise- good. Food was also great and would like to try other dishes next time.
Came in here for lunch on our first day visiting Edinburgh. The food and drinks were amazing as always, however the staff were virtually non-existent. Once we were seated we didn’t see anyone again and had to try and flag someone down for nearly ten minutes to get a refill on our miso soups. Aside from that, we had a really good experience and would return as we love sushi.
Dine here for our 1st dinner at Edinburgh! Lovely place with nice scenery and great customer service! Food is pretty decent too. Will recommend anyone who is coming Edinburgh to include this restaurant in one of your meals!
I was there to try the sushi’s , the views were amazing and the staff helpful and kind but the there wasn’t a variety of sushi’s rolling in the band the same kind of salads were passing ever and ever again and the ones I saw coming didn’t come to my place because was grabbed already. So I ordered from the menu and the food and sushi we tasted was ok. They didn’t have all the menu available to serve. #sushi #yo!sushi #asianfood #sushiedinburgh #tastyfood #restaurant #foodedinburgh #visitsyo!sushi
