The Kebab House

Poor Customer service, not friendly. The place looked like it needed a clean. Some tables dirty. Really sad as we used to frequent this restaurant years ago. Possible change of ownership as the lovely guy who used to meet and greet was not there. Just the 2 working, whom were more interested in watching soccer. The kebab was nice but size is questionable and we had to wait for our hot chips, which was part of our 2x $16 combos. Sadly, we will not be back. Such a shame for a place that was very popular the last 10 or so years.

I had finished work late 4:30am from working New Years Eve and were famished and upon having a brief look at reviews of kebab houses on K road I chose this one as not crazy busy and rating seemed fair. Despite the very friendly service I felt when my meal chicken & lamb with 2 falafels arrived I had been cheated. $18 to which I left them the change from $20 for what barely touched the sides - it just isn’t right; there was plenty of salads on show but barely a sprinkle on my dish. Word of advice guys - please, if you’re going to be extra friendly please show it in your dishes - we’re not paying for lip service. Food was alright but I’ve genuinely had twice as much for $16 and much better.

Came to get a burger, others warned me to not go here but like a fool I ignored sound advise. I got a Lamb Burger, by itself and there was only 1 other customer. It took 30 minutes to arrive and the lamb was old and not very well cooked but because I was on my lunch break I had to rush back. I would not go back here again, even if the food was free.

Absolutely terrible food. I ordered the chicken on rice, my friend the chicken kebab and my other friend the chicken on chips. Food was disgusting and 30 minutes later I felt like death and my two friends were vomiting and continued to do so for hours. Never eating there again.

Worst kebabs in Auckland!!!! Service so slow, food not fresh! Kebab are tiny and full of salad

Very unhappy with food/shisha quality and quantity. Extremely overpriced. Friendly staff however but need to get the other stuff sorted.

Food was good. Payed $12 for a chicken kebab and chips, not the cheapest kebab store.

Worst kebab , the lamb was burnt and old . The owner was not friendly at all. Don’t go there

If only I could leave this place a negative start review. Awful food, poor prices, rude staff. Would not return if you paid me.

What I ordered: Chicken Kebab What I got: Some piddly little thing and an hour and a half of dry heaving on my mates toilet Would not recommend
