First time cycling overseas, great experiences with the ride and really helpful and patient staff. Cycled to Cheese Barn and back again, total 24km. Route is straightforward with great views of the animals, greenland along the way. It rained at some points, be well prepared with raincoats and waterproof jackets.
We hired two e-bikes which were in impeccable condition, excellently maintained and felt brand new. Becky was extremely helpful and we felt well looked after. It was a pleasure to ride bikes in such perfect condition.
They had my bicycle for service and changing of tires. Gave them a call to find it was ready. Enquired cost and they were uncertain and had to call back later. When collecting the bicycle there attention was everywhere but me as the customer. I found this to be rather rude and poor. I just kept quiet took my bicycle and really glad to be out there.nnJohn
Fantastic find in Thames, JollyBikes right beside the “Rail Trail” leading to Paeroa. Both hire bikes & bikes for sale. Very helpful patient staff.
Thoroughly enjoyed our 4.5 hour self-guided bike tour along the Huaraki Rail Trail to the Matatoki Cheese Barn. Matthias and Lisa of Jolly Bikes did a fantastic job of organizing this tour: their mountain bikes were in great conditions; they provided mechanical tools, helmets, a map & lunch tokens for the Matatoki Cheese Barn. They also provided a mobile number in case we ran into any mechanical issues. The ride along the Hauraki Rail Trail is scenic and suitable for all riding levels. The Matatoki Cheese barn is a lovely spot for lunch and their organic cheeses and gelato were awesome. Our group of 4 highly recommend Jolly Bikes and this tour!
