Jellie Park has a perfect mix of open shots and technical throws surrounded by beautiful trees and well-kept grass. The course is clean, peaceful, and beginner-friendly, yet still fun for experienced players. You can easily spend a whole afternoon here, great vibes, friendly locals, and plenty of shade. Definitely one of the best free outdoor activities in Christchurch!
Awesome 18 hole disc golf course in Jellie Park. The course has baskets, paved tee pads and even signs for each hole.nnThe course has a nice flow around the park however some holes throw over or near pedestrian/cycle paths and so it is important to be mindful of where you are throwing and making sure you are not going to hit other park users with your discs.
Nice setting. Very popular, which added a little pressure for newbies like us. Though we just let people go ahead of us.
The course was very confusing as there were no signs on the course. The park was nice tho.
Very good, and great fun for all ages and abilities. The amount of holes 20 is perfect, it's not to short but not too long. You can usually find a few people on the course at any moment, but it's never two crowded. The people are friendly, the views are nice and I think its a great 30min- 1 hour activity for anyone.
