This is easily the best breakfast I’ve had on Waiheke. I wish I had found it earlier. French toast to die for. Best and simplest B/E roll with really fresh Cibatta. But best of all it is priced so fair.
My husband and I came here three times in two days and tried to order as many things as we could because everything was amazing - the food was unbelievable and much cheaper than a lot of other places, the coffee was the best we've have in a long while, and the owner was the loveliest Frenchman! We wish we could have stayed longer to try more dishes but it will have to wait until next time. What a gem of a spot, start here so you don't need to go anywhere else.nnFavourite dishes: everything we tried was fantastic but my favourite was the dusty breakfast filled homemade ciabatta and the coffee, and my husband's favourite was the fish tacos.
Super speedy and friendly service. A large group of us got the Dusty Brekkie and it was mean. Great coffee too. Definitely would come back. Thanks team
The best place for breakfast & lunch on Waiheke Island! Lovely spot with few seats outside, offering stellar breakfasts with REAL french patisserie goods only place we got a like-in-Paris croissant in weeks..., as well as yummy sandwiches & burgers around lunchtime. Prices significantly lower than rest of the island while the food is better here. We came back twice during our three day-stay on the island!
You can see why Frenchie is still crowded on a rainy day - this chef has absolutely nailed beautiful simplistic meals delivered with both Michelin star quality and speed. Coffee is top notch too, will definitely be making this our regular!
