A busy cafe with positive, energetic staff who have the service running well and are also obviously having a good time working.nGood coffee and cabinet food selection both savoury and sweet.nThe cafe is missing a cooked breakfast offering. Maybe the kitchen is too small to offer the next level of food items?nnAll in all, a great experience after having walked out of another local cafe who didn't have the same level of efficiency in their service.
We love coming in to pick a selection of goodies for morning tea shouts. A particular favorite for the team are the Sausage Rolls and GF Brownies. Delish. Thanks so much team!
Lovely vibey, popular, busy cafe with a great display of delicious looking counter food. Unfortunately, they don't do any breakfast/brunch meal options or very limited, only counter food and therefore no table service to take your order. Because the cafe gets so busy, there was a queue out the door, which makes it really tricky to get up close to look at the counter food, but the queue did move quickly though. I had a delicious broccoli, blue cheese and walnut quick slice, which was a decent size and you could taste all the flavours. It was only served with relish, no salad. I also had a lemon raspberry muffin, which looked divine but it had too much lemon filling in it and the sponge-cake-like muffin was dry and I didn't see or taste any raspberries. Unfortunately, I didn't like the Martinborough Coffee Company coffee. It was bitter and didn't have that smooth depth of flavour compared with other Wellington coffee companies I've tried.
