Hurley's of Queenstown

The four of us had a very comfortable stay here. Bed was very comfy. Well provisioned bathroom and kitchenette. Very clean. Quite spacious and also had a balcony in each room. Only drawback was that there was no toilet in the other bedroom although each room had their own bathroom. So people sleeping in the adjoining bedroom had to creep through our bedroom to get to the toilet at night.nnThe aircons worked really well. There is laundry facilities on site.nnWe were only here for one night. I could have happily stayed here longer before moving to our next destination.nnThe main town centre is just 10 minute walk away.

Not terrible, not great. Service was lovely, we were even showed to our room. The room itself was basic, clean, took about 30 minutes to get the TV to work. There should be a warning in the bathroom as the bath/shower is so high and slippery. I slipped and bruised myself. Mountain view was nice. Room had a bit of a musty smell to it. Parking was very tight and no one had parked properly in their bays.nBed was comfortable!

Priyanka the manager at Hurley’s really raised the bar in customer service by going above and beyond from the very moment we arrived. She was very helpful, accomodating and friendly at all times. This type of personalised customer service is very rare these days and is much appreciated. We were very happy with the location as it was very central. The rooms were large, the beds were comfortable and the overall service including the cleaning staff was excellent!

Only one shower facility for a 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment also smell weird and is very old.nnIt is actually a motel but somehow showing up as a 4-star hotel in Google. Wish I have did my search carefully and not being misled and paid 900 NZD for a night stay on Christmas Eve.nnAs most travellers drive into Queenstown and Queenstown is such a small city, there is no real need to stay in its town center which location wise is not much of an advantage.

Most things are quite well but as a 4-star hotel with a high price tag you would expect that. The only and biggiest downfall is the parking. They have 22 rooms but only 14 spots, so it's on a first come best dress basis. Most of the spots, if someone else being a jerk, then you won't be able to get into your car or drive it out. As a result of this we scratched our rental car a bit and that's quite a unpleasure experience on the last day of our holiday. Management could have strickly allocated parking spots to rooms so that we can have certainty about it.
