Welcome to the Hospice Waikato Shop page! Here you will find photos of the things we have in our shops as well as current and upcoming sales.

Story

Hospice Waikato provides specialist medical and nursing care and support services to people living with a terminal illness. We care for patients and their families living in the Waikato, Thames Coromandel and King Country regions.

Our 8 Hospice shops help raise funds to support the work of Hospice Waikato in our community.

We welcome donations of clothing, furniture, homeware, sports gear, games, books, etc, as every item we sell generates revenue to enable us to provide our service free of charge.

Our shops are staffed by a paid manager, who oversees the day to day running of the shop, and a wonderful network of dedicated, friendly volunteers.

What a nice place with friendly staff and people shopping. i got a pot to make steam xmas pudding for $12.00 new looking and it sells for $40 in the shop. I brought 2 books. I got home and read one already. It is so interesting and I will share it with many people.
Great range of secondhand goods: clothes, books , homewares. Lovely helpful volunteers, and you know that the money you spend there goes to an excellent cause.
We went here yesterday and they have some awesome items but I would classify this more of an antique store than an opportunity shop. Great that it goes back to a good cause. They also have a huge warehouse which is only open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The staff there are very nice and assisting.
Excellent place to shop, very clean up in the top shop. A little expensive compared to the Salvation Army toy prices...nonetheless I do understand why their prices are a bit high for people on the benefit or pension. The lady & men staff are very friendly.

What a great place. Staff is always helpful, good quality goods at really bargain prices. The main shop is especially nice, always well laid out, very appealing. Be careful not to get carried away!
Love this place. I find some real gems occasionally, prices are wee bit high.
