Honey Cafe Takapuna

Very delicious café. I’ve been here more than once. I love their eggs Benedict and chicken waffles. Looking forward to my next brunch as I’ll try some new dishes.

Very baby and kids friendly. There are about three high chairs available. We booked a table for four including a baby and requested a high chair, and they gave us a corner table with the high chair already set up. There’s also a kids’ menu and kids can draw on the back, and pencils are provided.nnJust a small note: we ordered a fluffy in a takeaway cup and didn’t realise it came with a chocolate powder topping. Glad we checked and had the chocolate powder removed, as we haven’t given our daughter chocolate yet.

We visited Honey based on the reviews we’d read, and what an absolutely wonderful find and gem it turned out to be. The place was busy and it was buzzing. The staff were brilliant and they never stopped smiling, very refreshing. The atmosphere was calm and felt so friendly.nWe ordered coffee to start and four different meals. The coffee was great as were the meals, presentation was lovely, quantity of food was great, there was no way you were leaving hungry or dissatisfied in any way.nThe thing that made Honey what it was in the end was the wonderful staff who made you feel genuinely appreciated and always welcome.nWould we go back again, stupid question.

DELISH breakfast!nThe staff were amazing and so kind, special shoutout to Shika who quickly helped clean our table after I spilt coffee everywhere you were an absolute gem of a human! Plus the place is dog friendly so there was the cutest of puppers hanging around which made it even more amazing!
