Honey Cafe Takapuna

This is one of Takapuna's popular cafés, always crowded with people enjoying brunch on weekend mornings. I visited with my partner for a Sunday lunch on a beautiful day.nnI had the Salmon Quiche, which came with a side of leafy salad and ketchup. It was deliciously soft, with a perfect mix of vegetables and cheese. I loved it!nMy partner ordered the Shakshuka, which was also fantastic - the mushrooms and sausages blended perfectly with the rich tomato sauce, and she thoroughly enjoyed it with the ciabatta bread served alongside.nnWe really like this café for its lively atmosphere and consistently kind service. Highly recommended!

Great food and coffee. What's even more impressive is the service. They were completely full the day I visited but the staff were patient and friendly. Lots of times staff get grumpy at customers when they're busy but not this place. Thank you to the team at Honey Cafe.

Fried chicken waffles are a classic for honey cafe and always delicious! We enjoyed the eggs benny as well. It’s a very busy cafe but the staff are friendly and we were promptly seated. There’s also free parking in the weekends by the nearby car park.

We love going here for breakfast. Staff is friendly and the food is great! Coffee also top class. It’s also buzzing usually with loads of people, but we’ve never had to wait for a table.

So yum! Such a cute lil cafe with an awesome vibe. Extensive menu that was so yum and athletically pleasing food. Would definitely recommend!
