Good One Takapuna Beach

Good One, it should be called the Bad One. Worst almond cappuccino it was weak and burnt I’ve ever had. I didn’t drink it and they made us pay for it even though we said we weren’t happy with it and didn’t want to pay for it. My partner’s eggs Benedict sat for along time so was cold when it got to our table and the eggs were hard boiled. The salmon I ordered was nice but the meal itself was small and my eggs were also over cooked. The customer service was also terrible. Although the staff were friendly, no-one asked us how our drinks or meals were. I had to get up and interrupt their conversation to ask for some water for our table. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. There are some fantastic cafes in Takapuna and unfortunately this is not one of them.

Staff welcomes you and gives menu, then you get totally forgotten. If bar misses all the drinks - they consider this to be ok not to remove them from the menu or at least warn they are not available at the moment. Food is nice but not more than that. Overall is an overpriced place, not going to dine there again.
