Very interesting . Run by DOC. Lots of information on governer Grey and his niece. Beautiful house with a lot of history. Open for a couple of hours a day in summer.

Light wind lots of sun. Fantastic day out to Kauwau Island. Idealic spot to stop for a picnic.

Most relaxed day so far. Had a awesome 2 hour boat ride got some brilliant pics on the way. Then sat down with our family and friends and had a picnic. Just perfect

The place is well presented with period pieces

Amazing setting for this beautiful old mansion house on Kawau Island. Nice lawn to relax or play on and safe swimming beach. Awesome walks around the lower part of the island including going down to the Old copper mine. There is also a cafe on site that sells food and drink.

Amazing trip and history of the island

Going back in time inside gardens and grounds well looked after, l worked there back in the 70s ,so different great memories, well worth a visit

Outstanding location. Very relaxing day spent out here swimming and kicking the ball around with work mates.
