They are not only bad at service but also very unprofessional. Instead of getting better, my daughter got worse after two visits. We had to go to ED, where the pediatrician said the dose given by GP was five times less than what my daughter actually needed! I can not believe my daughter was so sick, and taking the medicine they prescribed was like drinking sweet water!
Really patient and understanding receptionists who go out of their way to help find an appointment for you. Had an amazing experience recently where they went above and beyond which meant I was able to get an appointment and treatment for my young son same day - unheard of at most places lately. Thank you so much for your mahi.
Reception staff needs training on listening to patients. Whenever we call they dont want to hear what we have to tell. Our GP asked to contact the clinic as they may want to see our 7 month old son who has dehydration due to covid if things dont get better in 48hours. I tried to inform Jo at reception and she said she understands it urgent but there are no appointments and did nothing to escalate it to GP. She said she will add to nurse’s call list but did not bother to give a timeframe on when they will call and just kept the call. Its not easy to even call back and get someone to talk to. Both Covid care and Hutt hospital emergency were surprised that the high street health didn't even arrange a quick call back from GP despite quoting urgent.
Awful, absolutely awful! I made an appointment, showed up for my appointment and they said I never booked an appointment there. Receptionist aren’t good! It took them about 4 weeks to get me registered in the first place because she had forgotten about my files till I rang them up and asked if I enrolled I. 2 weeks time. It was an Indian receptionist, it didn’t seem like she wanted to enrol me in the first place. Awful!
Their service used to be good when they started because they needed patients. But it’s the worst I have experienced now and also I heard of many others have the feeling. They rushed you out during the appointment, and it’s hard to make an appointment within the same week. Never suggest this to any one.
The receptionists are useless, they do not listen to patients, and are completely uneducated about ACC coverage which means they tell blatant lies to patients. They have been continually overcharging me despite by GP telling them to stop. Even ACC said that these receptionist need to contact them so they can be set straight. Do not go here.
So sick of not being able to get an appointment. Pregnant high risk and sick as a dog and they still won’t help me I’m always having to go to hospital because I can’t get in to see a doctor. The reception this morning was so rude no offer of any help just flat out no appointments no other options given she was so rude and should not be in a customer role . What’s the point of this place if you can’t ever be seen ?!!!!!
The Dr that saw my husband was more interested in the public holiday coming up wasn't helpful at all didn't mean want to help was rude. The whole place was harsh and insensitive and they also hugely discrimate again unvaccinated people absolutely disgusting
I do not recommend this practice. They are incompetent. I've changed to three doctors here and had bad experiences with them all. They provide no answers or solutions to health problems, and take months to discuss test results. I know two other people who were patients at Hugh Street Health Hub who have since left due to similar experiences.
Dr. Roland is an amazing doctor, nurses are great, and receptionists are friendly.
