We had heard good things about this place so made the journey to check it out. We were completely blown away... The staff were brilliant, even other customers were friendly You know you've aced hospitality when this happens!nnThe food was amazing, easily comparable to the quality you'd expect at high end establishments in Auckland or Wellington. The portion sizes were larger than expected which was a bonus, it's always easier to share the tasty morsels when there's enough to go round! However, the struggle was real when trying to make room for dessert.nnWe're really looking forward to coming back and trying out the new menu!nnAnd I didn't even get a chance to talk about the cocktail list... Well, you'll just have to go in and check it out for yourselves
What an amazing little place hidden away in Dannervirke! The steak I had was easily on par with the best steaks I've had from other top restraunts. Staffed checked in with us quite often to make sure we didn't need anything. Would highly recommend checking this place out, I live about an hours drive from Dannevirke but very much worth the drive. Thank you very much to the owners and staff present that night!!
Just deliciousness in every single mouthful. Definitely coming back. Pork belly was soft, juicy and tender. Great crackling. Incredible broccolini, calamari, fries ... oh just everything ... seriously good

Amazing food, excellent service and beautiful cocktails. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the pork belly melted in my mouth. 10000% recommend to try it if you’re ever passing through danniverke.
