We waiting at least 90 minutes for our food. Food came out at different times. When it arrived was below average, chicken was dry as it had been fried for some reason. Disgusting tomato sauce bottles with labels peeled off. Friends had to ask for a refund due to the wait times and everyone else had finished eating.
Great food and the passion the owners have for the business is infectious. The book themed vibe is lovely and the food is awesome. I especially loved the waffles and the bacon and mushrooms were cooked to perfection with the big breakfast. I’ll definitely be back.
Nice cafe with pleasant ambience and an eclectic "book shop" theme. The staff person was exceptionally lovely and friendly. Our mushrooms weren't cooked quite enough but our meals were tasty in general. The coffee was excellent! Tom, the neighbour's black cat, is a permanent daytime sofa-surfer!
The cafe is tucked away in the back corner of the Cruise Deck. The staff are extremely polite and welcoming, and are keen to assist with any request. The corner of the cafè with the sofa is my favorite corner and very comfortable. Unfortunately the coffee was not very good. I had the chocolate peanut butter pastries and they were not exactly great either. For all the coziness of the place and the friendliness offered, when you are a coffee shop, and your coffee and pastries suck, then something needs to change. Too bad, because I would love to make this a permanent spot.
Once we ordered we waited an hour for 4x hash stacks and an eggs Benedict. For the prices they are charging we were disappointed in what arrived. Overal very unimpressed with the service, wait and quality.
Wow. From start to finish. What an experience. Got a gluten free Freaky Shake and a peanut butter one. Every part of it was well thought out and delicious. Well done team. We will be back.
very nice food and drinks, friendly and kind staff
Food was nice; but a few things to work on. Making sure to check in with customers to let them know that waiting for food will be a while and also the chairs outside need a swap. It was very difficult having to eat food when sitting on a low chair. Music got me to eat here so keep it going too!
I had a banana smoothie which was nice. Abit like a milkshake tho. My friend had a cheese scone which she said was really really salty and her ice chocolate was really really sweet. Unfortunately probably won't go back. Customer service was awesome
Went for brunch today and the food was nice but what we were really impressed with was the customer service. Probably most lovely customer service I’ve had in a really long time at a cafe. Super super friendly, were happy to make changes to drinks and meals, and even came out to double check how I wanted my iced coffee which was very thoughtful and appreciated!!. Definitely recommend!
