Had a nice brunch here today. Scandinavian was very yummy. I was disappointed that at 11.10am you were sold out of pork belly burgers. But you made up for it with the super lite potatoes layered in masterful form with two perfect poached eggs with a delightful cured salmon topped with delicious dill fraiche.
Used to go there every time we were in Papamoa but something has changed recently. They used to have amazing Cheese Scones and the last 2 times they tasted old.nnAlso Had a sit-down breakfast ,nowhere near as good as it was, i assume there was a change of ownership at some point which is the sole reason for this.nnStaff are very nice.nnUnfortunately won't be back now.
I traveled out of the way to visit this cafe due to the reviews and although it was good it wasn’t a 5 star rating for me. A steady stream of customers & nice food but expensive. No avocado which I was sad about. My frappe was ok but lacked cream and strength.
Second time here, second time not being able to order my first choice on the menu - although they did offer to make a wrap from scratch to meet my intolerances - points for that! The smoothie was lovely, the juices were also super refreshing although fresh orange juice tasted much the same as the one with other ingredients. Our meals were delicious. It’s a beautiful vibe
I am visiting from Melbourne and luck to have this very cool cafe nearby.nFood choice is great, I had braised lamb croquettes, with medjool dates, labneh, dukkah, herb salad with grapes and a sherry dressing $26 delicious!!nFriend had smoked Kahawai pate, pickles, chimichurri, grilled sourdough $24 equally as delicious.nCoffee on point for this Melburnian.nFriendly vibe.nService quick and welcoming.nOther delicious things on display.nWill make it my daily ritual.
