Story

Bev heads the Travelsmart New Plymouth team and has over 25 years experience in the travel industry. Her favourite places to visit from the 43 countries she has visited so far are Bhutan, Sri Lanka, India, Nepal, Vietnam, Portugal, Turkey and the Czech Republic.

Izzy our head cruise specialist, loves to travel and is passionate about her job, she loves to see the faces of her clients when they come back and tell her what an amazing time they have had and can't wait to go on their next adventure. Izzy has visited a number of different countries in her travel career and has a lot more to tick of the bucket list - this job enables her to do this not only for herself but for her clients so that she can personally recommend a restaurant or tour in a certain country.

Rebecca has just returned back home to Taranaki after working and travelling overseas for a year to start her career in travel as she has now ticked off some destinations in her large bucket list of countries she wants to visit.
"I worked for a year at Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts in Florida after completing my Diploma in Tourism and Travel Management and I travelled extensively through America while I was there.
I travelled on a Contiki which was a fun way to finish off my time in America. My favourite places in America were Nashville, Zion National Park and Yellowstone National Park." She has also visited Puerto Rico in the Caribbean and Vietnam which are amazing countries and looks forward to sharing her knowledge to help clients plan their dream escape!

Zoe has returned to her homeland after 2 years of working in London and travelling the UK and Europe. She have been in the travel industry for over 4 years (2 years in NZ and 2 years overseas).
"I absolutely love working in this industry as I am extremely passionate about travel as it is one of the few things that enriches your life for the better and I love exploring new destinations and experiencing new, exciting cultures" She has travelled throughout the UK and Europe as well as South East Asia, Australia and the South Pacific – Her 3 top favourite countries would have to be Croatia, Portugal and Vietnam.

Julie rounds out the team and has been bringing travel dreams to life for 12 years. Her must see places are South Africa, Bali and the Queensland Coast. With over 15 years experience Julie has travelled extensively throughout Australia, South East Asia, Western USA and Canada, Europe and the Pacific Islands. "One of the many highlights of my career was being selected for an exchange to a Travel Agency in George, South Africa where I experienced the beautiful Garden Route, Cape Town and Kruger National Park"
