We are a small, friendly Aikido club in Helensville. We run aikido classes and personal training sessions.

Aikido is a Japanese form of self-defense and a dynamic martial art that focuses on using your opponent’s energy and momentum to apply a lock or to throw them away.
Influenced by European Aikido teachers such as Christian Tissier and Bruno Gonzalez, we focus on ukemi, dynamic techniques from a variety of grabs and strikes, and weapons (jo, tanto and boken).
Above all, we're a social and friendly club that enjoys training together and takes care of its members. We'll help you get and stay fit, learn to defend yourself and support you through each technique.
