Update 9th Frebruary 2024 Council say they have now organised the clearing out of the noxious weeds on Council land in Paeroa's residential area, after years of requesting they recommence it, and that they will be cleaning out the very overgown drains behind the properties in Thames Road that flood into our properties with heavy rain. And the Kanuka, broken by Bindweed on the grass paper road will be attended to, plus the now 10 to 12 ft high Wooly Nightshade tree, plus the smaller noxious weeds, we have been assured they will all be attended to this month.nnActions speak louder than words. We the residents who pay our Rates are waiting hopefully this time.nnLets hope we can give you 5 stars at last, Council.n* * * * 2023nAbysmal. Couldn't organise a Mad Hatter's Teaparty without mistakes. Total lack of concern for their very elderly.nThere's lots of room for improvement. And for everyone's sake....you need to have a listening ear and a caring heart for ALL in your community.nRemember...we pay you to work for us.nShape up, or you'll be shipped out at the next elections.nA tree is known by its fruit.nPeople are known by their actions.nWe expect far better from you H.D.C.
For the past 10 plus years I have lived in Ngatea and have never been so disgusted with the so called road works which have taken place this week. Our main street is a real dogs breakfast. Why can't the work be done like it was back when Ian Costello and crew repaired the roads. Taxpayers pay enough and should at least have decent roads. Also how about trying to do something to brighten up our street. We in ngatea are like the poor cousins of the plains
Friendliest Council ever! So helpful and accommodating, and such great free services for a relatively small District!
Inefficient communication from the Council.nUnbelievable waste of Ratepayers money.nI'm almost lost for words actually, and I am left shaking my head in disbelief at the mismanagement I personally have witnessed.
The disgusting state if the Waihi cemetery is appalling.
