The reviews are no exaggeration: this bakery has incredible pies, and all of the sweet pastries and breads I've tried are great too. It's a ritual to come here every time I visit Oamaru. Get your goodies, drive up to the Lookout, and eat that pie as you gaze over the harbour. Heavenly.
They make the biggest and the most delicious almond croissants I've ever had! And their bread, you will be amazed how real it is. Heavy, no fluff, all 100% goodness. Really nice people too.
Pepper steak pie - excellent! Coffee - not so much. Nice little bakery
The pies were amazing. Had the steak.and mushroom pie. Crust was flaky, sauce was perfect. A must do when you drive through this area.
We ordered a mince pie and two coffees and all three were awesome. There's a nice park for kids that's a two-minute walk away so we went there to enjoy the food.
Lunch today. A super yummy Steak and Mushroom Pie, absolutely delicious!
