The people of North Otago now have their own Hunting & Fishing New Zealand store! Location and access are great, right on Thames Street in Oamaru's main business area (two doors from Campbell's Butchery). Having two street frontages provides convenient parking with the backup of 12 additional parks out back.

Inside you'll find an impressive 450sqm of retail displays bristling with all the latest and greatest for your next outdoor adventure. Special attention has been given to the interior theme which brings the outdoors indoors with an ambience created by displays and shop fittings custom crafted from local timbers by Brian Cooper (Weka Art, Golden Bay).

Our local knowledge is evident in the specialist gear selections whatever the department. Saltwater - We have you covered from blue cod to diving. Freshwater - Waitaki River gear for salmon not to mention trout tackle for all rivers, lakes, dams and of course the hydro canals at the head of the Waitaki Valley. Hunting - North Otago is a true sportsman's paradise so we carry everything hunting from firearms and ammo to optics and accessories for the deer, pigs, ducks, geese, quail, chukar, rabbits, goats, tahr, chamois and wallaby hunting. Of course for campers we stock everything from tents through to camp cutlery!
