We walked in the bakery at 10am. Everything smelled so lovely and fresh. We tried a steak and cheese and mince and cheese pie, and we got to say they were the best ones we’ve had in NZ. After traveling the whole north and South Island, this bakery has the number 1 pies!!! And the service was amazing!
Delicious bakery, the aromatic smell wafting from inside, such a welcoming invitation, literally couldn’t resist but to go in. And boy, this was the most satisfying apple cream pastry I’ve ever tasted, and the owners even offered discounts and deals for everyone, locals and tourists we even got recommended by a local to buy from here, it didn’t disappoint. The owners are extremely nice, even if they look intimidating at first, or maybe we’re just good at hustling… It was right before closing time so I guess it was warranted, definitely recommend this BREAD!
Worth the price and value for money. I tried the steak & jalapeño pie as well as the sausage roll, and both were very satisfying. The sausage roll was my absolute favourite. It was generously sized, really filling, and well worth the price at $8. The steak & jalapeño pie was also packed with plenty of meat. Overall, this place is a must-visit when you’re in Oamaru, especially if you’re looking for something filling and well priced
Super fresh bakes everyday. The cronut is amazing and their freshly baked pies smell great. They serve takeaway coffee as well.nnClassic bakes and newer stuff available.
We loved the little bakery in Oamaru so much that we were going back the next morning for breakfast. Their products are made from scratch in the kitchen next to the shop.nVery friendly service and atmosphere.nAn assortment of bread from the day before for $3 can’t be beaten. Their large coffee is actually a tall version, the Afghan cookies so tasty. Really enjoyed their breakfast cinnamon buns.
