I can say that this is the best Haka House in terms of both location and condition. The sockets in the room are made of the type that allows for both normal, type-C and USB charging. Only the heater in the rooms is not enough for heating. You can park your car for free on the street right in front of the hotel from 8 pm to 8 am. There was also a kettle and a mini fridge in the room. There are equipment suitable for all needs in the common areas.
Booked an en-suite. Clean rooms. Great location.nnThere's no onsite parking, so the reception staff recommended Taranaki St carpark. Super cheap for overnight parking, which is a rare find in Wellington.nnOccassionally hear noise/talking in other rooms as walls are slightly thin, but don't affect overall stay.nnPrice was also reasonable for Wellington.
Perfect location to explore the city centre or a catch the ferry early in the morning. Friendly and helpful staff who made us feel welcome immediately. We will be back.
excellent location, very comfortable beds, clean bathroom with body soap in the shower even foot towels and hair dryer. Friendly staff at reception, easy check in.
Rooms are very small but layed out well with enough storage. Beds are rock hard and uncomfortable. They close the kitchens to clean at 9am when lots of people are eating. The Zip hit water cylinder in both kitchen broken so no hot water for drinks unless you used a saucepan.
