I’m convinced that the only reason this place still has members is because of the location. The equipment is broken/beat up see pictures. It’s never picked up.. cable accessories/dumbbells are always thrown everywhere. More often than not, the paper towel dispensers are empty/spray bottles are broken. Wouldn’t recommend.

UPDATE TO PREVIOUS REVIEW: LAF Downingtown just completed a renovation and the place looks great!!! New floors and some of equipment moved for better traffic flow. What a difference it makes!! 4.5 is my revised rating. All is needed to be a 5.0 is new equipment. Also the new Operations Manager is great. Very professional, personable and listens to members’ comments and suggestions.

A lot of machines have been out of order for 6 months or more. Many of the others are rusting in place and need TLC. The heat is broken in the yoga/fitness rooms for weeks now. Place has been on a downward trajectory since the pandemic. Time to show it some love.

After 2 yrs at this gym here's what you can expect: -always filthy, rarely cleaned, i've seen the same tumbleweeds of hair and dust for months at a time -much of the equipment is broken or only partially working for weeks to months ex. counted 27 cardio machines down at one time, most of the equipment 20 yrs old and rusty, no safety inspections had a cable break, a peddle fall off a bike, and numerous other pieces of equipment break -discourteous clientele, dropping weights, leaving gym bags all over, not wiping equipment down, blocking the dumbbells, and trying to use multiple stations while people are waiting -unconcerned staff, complaints go unanswered, everything blamed on corporate, constant staff turnover, always multiple staff members on their phones and even had one that walked around with an erection on more than one occasion hitting on the girls in the gym -more teenagers than i've ever seen in a gym sitting on machines using their phones, taking pics and video in the locker room and gym floor, basically socializing and making a nuisance of themselvesmanagment claimed that recording pics and video in the locker room was permitted, it's like a daycare young children being dropped off and even found a 12 yr old in the pool by himself while mom was elsewhere in the gym for over an hourmanagement claimed that 13 yrs of age or older were permitted full access unaccompanied -sauna/pool/spa all broken at multiple times -basketball players being loud and disruptive or dribbling around the gym floor, sometimes playing music that can be heard throughout the gym competing with the gym's music Overall, this facility and the way it's run are a nightmare and don't deserve even one star.

Forgive my previous negative review. Form your own opinion. Nice facility. Just wasn't for me. My negative experiences shouldn't affect this business in its entirety. Bless

Honestly disgusting. I have been a LA fitness member since 2014..... it's 2021, and I decided to quit my husband and my memberships. Realize, we met at LA... So this was a huge step. At least half of the equipment is broken with no time frame on when it'll be fixed, the gym smells like it hasn't been cleaned in months... and based on the attached photos, it's safe to say it probably hasn't been. Disgusting.

Very mediocre gym. The free weight section should be 2x what it is based on weight times for equipment. Many of the machines throughout the gym are broken and have “scheduled for service” signs posted which means they are broken and unusable. I’ve been a member for about 6 months and the same machines are still broken. They are also very dirty. Many of the treadmills are rusted and need deep, deep cleaning. Overall the gym doesn’t pass what I consider to be responsible expectations.

This gym is amazing, great equipment and great customer service. 10/10 recommend!! Only downside is that the floor needs to be replaced but overall amazing.

Still the best gym in the area.moght be the best one left. Is it looking like the 2000? Yes it is. But way more equipment working. Cleaner than most ESPORTA locations, good location. Good spacing. Fresh air and neutral smell. This location is great, maybe one of the best ones I have seen. Quite a few esporta locations are being allowed to agonize, this one is very alive and in great shape. Other than Monday and Tuesday not too busy either. They seem to be paying attention to machines that need repairs.
